Rimon – Dutch Progressive Jewish Education Center
In the Summer of 2013 the Robert A. Levisson Foundation took over the Dutch Progressive Jewish Education Center ‘Rimon’ from the Sja’ar Foundation, at the request of the Dutch Union for Progressive Judaism.
The main task of Rimon is to support the Dutch Reform Talmud Tora-schools (age 4-13 years). Its aim is to standarize the eduction by (material for) lessons and education of the teachers.
The material for lessons is developed in subjects and in age groups. The lessons and its material are based on the nationally learning plan, which can be found on the Rimon website. Teachers of the Liberal congregations in Holland can download these lessons with a login on the site.

The teaching material, developed by Rimon, exists of two types:
Printed material (books and work books), often edited from the English to the Dutch situation. They can be bought via Sja’ar Foundation, the publisher of the books.
Digital material on the Rimon website. There is a public part for pupils, parents and others, in the closed part only teachers can enter through a login.
